Become a vendor at the festival
\\GENERAL INFORMATION
If you are interested in becoming a vendor please contact Dennis Bryant at (318)471-0252 or send an email to natchjazzfest@yahoo.com to request a copy of the Vendor Acceptance Agreement.
The completed Vendor Acceptance Agreement and all fees due must be returned to the Jazz Festival Committee before March 1, 2018. Only those vendors who have complied with all regulations and have paid in full will be given a permit.
All vendors must be registered with the Natchitoches Jazz Festival in order to qualify to sell or demonstrate their products or services. To register you must provide the name of the vendor group, the name, address and telephone number of a contact person representing that group, and submit all required documents and fees. Each approved and registered vendor will receive a certificate identifying that the vendor has met all requirements. This certificate must be visibly displayed in the booth during all hours of operation.

\\PROPANE GAS
The City of Natchitoches Fire Department will allow up to, and including 20 lb. propane cylinders or tanks for vendors to use as fuel to cook. Three cylinders or tanks per vendor or booth will be allowed. No more than three tanks will be allowed. All connections and fuel lines will be checked to be sure they are safe. Absolutely no dumping of any liquids other than clear water will be tolerated. All other liquids such as grease, oil or drink syrup must be carried off the riverbank by the vendor. The city will collect trash that has been properly bagged and tied. It would be helpful however if you carried off your own trash.
\\ELECTRICAL HOOKUPS

All electrical connections must meet the specifications and metering requirements set forth by the City of Natchitoches.

As per City ordinance, portable generators may not be used for electricity.

Household duty extension cords and other unapproved methods of electrical connection are not allowed.

Each booth requiring electricity must be connected and metered individually by the city.

The Natchitoches Jazz Festival Committee will arrange for all electrical connections.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:

All wiring in booths or tents must meet all National Electrical Codes adopted by the City of Natchitoches.

Booths or structures requiring electricity from 20 amps to 70 amps, at 240 volts must furnish breaker and S-O cord to match load.

Service 70 amps or lower - the load wires on 100-amp breaker must be moved to blank space provided.

A 110 volt 20 amp GFI receptacle, a 30 amp R-V 110 volt and a 50 amp 240 volt receptacle is provided below each meter, these are pre-wired. R-V plug is not intended for large concessions, also only one type R-V plug provided. Any R-V or trailer requiring 240 volt service 60 or 70 amp will have to use terminal block and furnish a breaker of correct size to match cord. No extension cords used in R-V outlet.

For tents or structures using an extension cord, use GFI Breaker.

Cord from trailer of R-V must be in good condition.

\\PEDDLING
Vendors may not peddle their merchandise outside their assigned booth spaces.
Any vendor attempting to peddle merchandise is in violation of the law and all the merchandise and money will be confiscated by law enforcement, and the vendor will be made to cease operations with the forfeiture of all paid fees.
Such vendors may also be subject to prosecution by the Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival.
\\SETUP & BREAKDOWN

Set up time begins at 8:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2020.

All booths must be set up and traffic cleared by 2:00PM on Friday, May 15, 2020.

Rue Beauport (Downtown Riverbank) will be closed to vehicular traffic at this time.

Exceptions will be allowed, for Band Equipment Setup & Removal.

Selling may begin when ever you are ready on Friday.

Vendors must vacate the premises by noon on Sunday, May 17, 2020.
\\INSURANCE
-
Proof of liability insurance is mandatory for all vendors doing business during and in conjunction with the Festival.

You must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 (one million dollars) liability coverage for personal injury, loss of life, and product liability.

A copy of your insurance policy or an insurance certificate will suffice as proof of insurance.

This insurance must be valid and in effect for the duration of the Festival.
\\FEES

$750.00 – Includes a 10'x20' space near the main stage, vendor license, electrical hook-ups are available at this rate.

$600.00 - Includes a 10'x20' space away from the main stage, vendor license, electrical hook-ups are available at this rate.

All booths must meet the requirements and standards of the Natchitoches Jazz Festival.

All fees must be paid by April 7, 2020 to qualify for participation in the 2020 Natchitoches Jazz Festival.

Payments will be made to City of Natchitoches Festivals. Mail payments to PO Box 370, Natchitoches, LA 71458.
