Fesitval Postponed

The 2020 Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival, which was scheduled for May 15th and 16th has now been at least postponed if not cancelled, according to Festival Chairman Rodney Harrington.

“We’ve kind of been taking a ‘wait and see’ approach concerning whether or not to postpone the Festival, but it is abundantly clear from recent events that there is zero chance that we would be able to hold the Festival on May 15th and 16th as planned,”  according to Harrington.

Harrington went on to say that when restrictions on groups and meetings are relaxed, the Festival Board of Directors will get together and determine whether to produce an event of some sort later in the year or simply plan to come back in next spring with the 2021 Festival.

“One thing you can be assured of,” continued Harrington, “the Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival will come back and we will come back strong!”  Please follow the festival at www.natchjazzfest.com and on the festival’s Facebook page for future updates.
